As a senior consultant, on McKinley’s Organizational Excellence team, Heidi partners with associations to help volunteer leaders stay strategically focused. Heidi enjoys diving into complex issues with volunteer leaders to build highly effective boards. From an operational perspective, Heidi enjoys reviewing programs and services to ensure they provide value to members and revenue to the organization.
Heidi joins McKinley with 25 years of association experience. She began her association career with the National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems. Before joining McKinley, she was the senior vice president of association management at Management Solutions Plus. In this position she took on many leadership roles in associations, such as serving as the executive director for the Association of Water Technologies and supervising the firm’s team of executive directors. She has helped associations develop and monitor scenario budgets, enhance membership services and develop conferences and programs.
In 2008 Heidi earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation, the highest professional credential in the association industry. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Fordham University and a masters in nonprofit management from Trinity University.
In her spare time, Heidi enjoys reading, going to see shows, trying new restaurants and exploring DC with friends.
